With advancing age the eyelid skin thins out, which may cause the small blood vessels to show up giving the lower eyelids a darker appearance. Baggy Eyelids

The skin under the eyes has a flat and gently tense tone when we are young. Age and other factors can let the muscles and skin sag, and fat bulge. It is a very common condition seen with:
